In general,  students living inside SAISD boundaries receive priority for seats. For Choice Programs within a school, in-district students living within that school’s attendance zone will receive priority for seats ahead of other in-district students.

For example: The Media & Film Institute is a Choice Program within Brackenridge High School. All students wishing to participate in this program must apply, even if they live within Brackenridge’s attendance zone. During the lottery, these attendance-zone students will receive priority for seats, followed by students who live outside the school’s  attendance zone.
