CAST Med High School
At CAST Med High School, we add to the pipeline of much-needed doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, and researchers in the San Antonio area with students wishing to improve the health of our community. We offer an emphasis on medicine and biomedical research.
En CAST Med High School aportamos a la fuente de doctores, enfermeros, farmacéuticos, dentistas e investigadores que tanto se necesitan en el área de San Antonio con estudiantes que desean mejorar la salud de nuestra comunidad. Ofrecemos un énfasis en la medicina y la investigación biomédica.
At CAST Med High School:
- Students will follow one of three pathways: Biomedical Research, Medical Professionals or Public Health Professionals
- The intent of CAST Med High School is to provide high school students a strong foundation, especially in mathematics and science, so that they can be successful once they enroll in college and achieve their medical career aspirations. College coursework will be embedded in classroom curriculum, allowing students to graduate with a high school diploma and a minimum of 30 hours of college coursework
- Students also will have the opportunity to learn from industry partners and gain real-world experience through extracurricular study groups, summer enrichment programs, job shadowing, mentorships, internships, volunteer experiences, and clinical and research opportunities

En CAST Med High School:
- Los estudiantes seguirán una de tres vías: Investigación Biomédica, Profesionales Médicos o Profesionales de la Salud Pública
- La intención de CAST Med High School es proporcionar a los estudiantes de secundaria una base sólida, especialmente en matemáticas y ciencias, para que puedan tener éxito una vez que se inscriban en la universidad y logren sus aspiraciones de carrera médica.
