At Artemisia Bowden Academy, we believe in promoting a safe, engaging, and innovative learning community where students will gain foundational, academic, and personal skills to become leaders that positively impact their school and society. San Antonio ISD is hosting virtual and in-person Parent Information Sessions every month! These are interactive, family conversations that help you understand what Choice Schools & Magnet Programs are and how to gain admission. We share important dates and deadlines, tips on how to apply, and resources to learn more. See dates, times, and locations of all District Info Sessions here.

  • Virtual Sessions: Join by tuning in to our live broadcast on the SAISD Choice Schools & Programs Facebook page. Parents will be able to post questions directly in the comments during the presentations, and we’ll answer in real time! Questions may also be sent ahead of time by direct message through the Facebook page, or by email to
  • In-Person Sessions: No sign-up is needed. These sessions take place at our neighborhood high schools, so parking is free. To make sure seating can remain socially distanced, we advise just 1 parent and 1 child per family attend each event. *Masks are required due to COVID-19 safety guidelines.
