We will strive to create an atmosphere of independent learning that involves students taking ownership of their learning and teachers creating the spaces for collaboration, creativity, and authentic learning.

  • Focus on preparing students with the skills, credentials, and industry-specific associate’s degree necessary for high-wage, high-demand careers in cybersecurity
  • Under the four- to six-year model, students will be able to earn a high school diploma, an associate degree, a two-year post-secondary certificate or industry certification, and complete work-based training through internships, apprenticeships or other job-training programs
  • Through St. Philip’s, Cyber P-TECH students will have the opportunity to earn an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology CybersSecurity Specialist degree

DISTRICT INFO SESSSIONS
San Antonio ISD is hosting virtual and in-person Parent Information Sessions every month! These are interactive, family conversations that help you understand what Choice Schools & Magnet Programs are and how to gain admission. We share important dates and deadlines, tips on how to apply, and resources to learn more. See dates, times, and locations of all District Info Sessions here.

  • Virtual Sessions: Join by tuning in to our live broadcast on the SAISD Choice Schools & Programs Facebook page. Parents will be able to post questions directly in the comments during the presentations, and we’ll answer in real time! Questions may also be sent ahead of time by direct message through the Facebook page, or by email to choice@saisd.net.
  • In-Person Sessions: No sign-up is needed. These sessions take place at our neighborhood high schools, so parking is free. To make sure seating can remain socially distanced, we advise just 1 parent and 1 child per family attend each event. *Masks are required due to COVID-19 safety guidelines.
