The S.J. Davis Middle School, chances are we may know you. And your mother and father. And we would love to know your child because, as a pillar of the East Side, we’ve educated generations of family members. We focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education as a means of elevating and empowering your child, your family, and our community as a whole. Every child has what it takes to rise to great levels, and we work with parents and community partners to make that happen.

San Antonio ISD is hosting virtual and in-person Parent Information Sessions every month! These are interactive, family conversations that help you understand what Choice Schools & Magnet Programs are and how to gain admission. We share important dates and deadlines, tips on how to apply, and resources to learn more. See dates, times, and locations of all District Info Sessions here.

  • Virtual Sessions: Join by tuning in to our live broadcast on the SAISD Choice Schools & Programs Facebook page. Parents will be able to post questions directly in the comments during the presentations, and we’ll answer in real time! Questions may also be sent ahead of time by direct message through the Facebook page, or by email to
  • In-Person Sessions: No sign-up is needed. These sessions take place at our neighborhood high schools, so parking is free. To make sure seating can remain socially distanced, we advise just 1 parent and 1 child per family attend each event. *Masks are required due to COVID-19 safety guidelines.
